2018 Franklin County Consultant Bridge Inspections

The project consisted of performing the in-depth inspection including the underwater inspection of 3 bridges and underwater inspection on an additional bridge. The underwater inspection portion was performed by a subconsultant.  Fishinger Road Bridge is a continuous, A572 steel, haunched girder structure, with a composite reinforced concrete deck, and reinforced concrete substructures. The total bridge length is 699 ft (4 spans with a maximum length of 210 ft measured c/c bearings); Hayden Run Road Bridge is a continuous, A588 steel haunched girder structure, with a non-composite reinforced concrete deck, and reinforced concrete substructure units. The total bridge length is 801 ft (4 spans with a maximum length of 222 ft measured c/c bearings).  The third bridge, Havens Corners Road Bridge, is a 3-span, non-composite box beam bridge with capped pile abutments and piers. The total bridge length is 108.87-ft (end spans of 34.89-ft and a center span of 35.73-ft measured c/c bearings).
