This safety funded single-lane roundabout improves traffic operations and reduces crash severity at the SR-315 and Hyatts Road intersection. Being located adjacent to the Olentangy Scenic River, our team worked closely with District staff to minimize impacts outside the right-of-way, reduce tree clearing, and limit riparian setback mitigation—all while maintaining safe and functional approaches.

The project also included replacing over 1,000 feet of culverted stream along Hyatts Road, with grades as steep as 7.5%. Thanks to collaboration and efficient construction, the intersection was reopened to traffic in just 35 days.
