2LMN managed the design and plan production for two culvert replacements on East Main Street in Lancaster, Ohio. The existing 42-inch and 36-inch circular culverts were replaced with 48-inch by 76-inch concrete elliptical pipes to address flooding on the upstream sides of the crossings. The City originally requested box culverts; however, 2LMN recommended elliptical pipe as a more cost-effective solution while still meeting hydraulic needs. 2LMN also supported the City by preparing bid documents. This project was bundled with a separate elliptical culvert replacement on Independence Boulevard, and 2LMN provided construction administration services for the East Main Street and Independence Boulevard culvert replacement projects.
